Pomo Cowork · Time together
A virtual coworking room your group can return to
Same people, a familiar place, and a time to begin. Turn an occasional “we should work together” into a recurring appointment at separate desks.
Give a regular coworking group a common destination
A virtual coworking room is a place a group can return to for independent work. The room supplies a destination; the group still needs to agree on when to arrive, what kind of session it wants, and where to check in. A weekly appointment can work with unrelated projects as long as everyone understands the routine.
Before the first session, open the room directory and confirm that each participant can access the chosen room. Room membership and creation follow the options shown in the app, including any plan requirements. Do not assume that sharing a link gives someone access. This landing page lets you try the timer and current live workspace; it does not automatically create a new room.
Keep the routine small enough to repeat. For example, meet for two 25-minute work rounds with a short break between them, then decide whether to return next week. Include the time zone in the invitation and make attendance expectations clear. Timers remain personal, so late arrivals and early departures do not change the other participants’ countdowns.
Set up the first recurring appointment
- Open Rooms, choose an available room, and confirm the access or membership steps with your group.
- Agree on a date, start time, time zone, and realistic end time through your usual calendar or messages.
- Decide whether the work periods are quiet and where opening goals and final updates will happen.
- Meet in the chosen room, each start a personal timer, and confirm the next appointment before leaving.
Why use this timer?
A familiar destination
Return to the agreed room instead of deciding where to meet before every work session.
Expectations before arrival
A simple agreement about quiet time and check-ins helps newcomers know how to join.
A routine that can change
Keep the room while adjusting attendance, task choices, or interval length with your group.
For groups who want to meet again
- Weekly coworking circles
- Reserve a recurring window for independent projects and a brief update at the end.
- Distributed colleagues
- Choose an overlap time and a room everyone can access before inviting the team.
- Friends with side projects
- Keep a regular appointment without needing to build or study the same thing.
The Pomo Cowork difference
A room is the place; your group sets the routine
Pomo Cowork combines room options with the same focus timer and live sessions used in the main workspace. Check Rooms for available destinations and Pricing for creation or Pro options. Scheduling, attendance agreements, and coordinated starts remain decisions you make with the group.

Does opening this page put me in a new virtual room?
No. The timer and live list use your current workspace. Use the Rooms link to choose a room and follow its access requirements. This page neither creates a room nor automatically moves you into one.
Can everyone join a room from its link?
Access depends on the room and the options available to each participant. Check the room’s entry or membership requirements before the appointment. A link identifies the destination; it does not override access rules.
Do I need Pro to create a coworking room?
Room creation follows the account and plan options shown on the Rooms and Pricing pages. Check those options before planning a room you will host. Trying the timer here is separate from creating a room.
Does the room schedule our recurring appointments?
Arrange dates, time zones, reminders, and invitations through your usual calendar or communication tools. A common room gives you a place to meet; it does not by itself book a repeating appointment for the group.
Are room timers synchronized?
No. Each participant starts and controls their own timer. Agree on a start time and break pattern if alignment matters. Someone joining late can use a shorter interval without restarting the rest of the room.
